Please only post one thread per subject your initial post/thread yesterday was posted in the appropriate board.

I have no knowledge of a chrome cover for the Zumo's and more than likely the reason you haven't gotten a reply is no one else has either. :nixweiss:

Why would you want a chrome cover on a GPS? It will BLIND you when you look at it if the sun is in the right position. Chrome is for OTHER people to look at... you DON'T want chrome on what YOU'RE looking at when you're riding!

it looks like a dead spot on the bars of my bike [11 fltruse]  all the rest of everything in that area is chrome and it has'nt blinded me yet though you do bring up a good point, maybe garmins trying to avoid liability. still I think it would do some justice in chrome. thanks  Randy

The reason I say that I because I installed the chrome cover on the lower fairing skirt, down where the switches and ignition switch are - and I have been blinded by it a couple of times. I like the look of that touch of chrome down there, but I don't like being blinded unexpectedly. I seriously considering removing it for safety reasons.

FYI  You don't want chrome over a GPS as it is a  metal finish and will cover the GPS Antenna inside the case so that it can not see the Satelites, it could be done if the Garmin has an external antenna jack and you mount the external antenna where it can see the satelites.
