Ocala/Orlando Fullsac users
« on: September 04, 2012, 01:56:32 PM »

About to take possession of a 2013 Ultra CVO(pics to follow), and would like to hear some of the Fullsac baffles, preferably 2", and X-pipes.
Will buy you a beer :drink:, a soda, or even an un-sweet tea if you'll meet me at a location that works for you.
I'm in the Ocala area.
Thanks!
Jon

That seems to be the consensus, I was on the fence with the 2 1/4" cores. They are inexpensive enough that one could order another size core if the first set isn't what they wanted.

I have the 2" cores, i think they are a good compromise on the sound level.  I wish they were a tad louder.  Maybe after I install the tuner/ header it will get a bit louder as well as run better/cooler.

I was looking at the pricing last night, actually, after reading a post somewhere else in here.
I'll get the 2", ride 'em for a while, and get different sizes if I think I can be happier.
Judging by the number of positive posts, I think they'll work just fine.
Thanks for all the replies,
Jon

If you cut down the end of the FullSac baffle to a 1/4" from the base, so there fore resembling the OE look of the '12 core you will accomplish more sound without effecting the TTS map provided,,, I called Steve regarding the same questions, wanted a liitle more sound but not as much as the 2.25 core.
worked out well  :2vrolijk_21:
plus from the rear i think visually it looks better too

Mike,
Trimming down the outlet side (painted Black side)
i noticed on your pics of your '13 the outlet of the baffle extends further like the Fullsac baffle, Where the '12 stock core was shorter?

I just left mine the way they were.   I was thinking that any mod on them woulld effect the tune. I the sound on the 2" are just right for me.   I can hear the radio at any speed.   I know what my motor sounds like.  :nixweiss:

You noticed that, too.  I thought he'd already done the Fullsac baffles when I saw those pics.
