I have a question for ya now that you had her for a few days. what's your opinion on the engine and case detailing with the Black rockers and the covers? do you thing they will be a pain to keep clean? make the engine run hotter? I think they look sharp, and I love the Anniversary colours. just looking for your opinion before I take the big step.

Did they also do away with the Chrome Bezel/Detailing around the tourpak lights?

You are right, pictures probably don't do justice to this mc.  It looks beautiful.  :2vrolijk_21:

 :2vrolijk_21:  Someone who gets it!

The bike is nice, thanks for the pics.

The LED now has a painted surround, as in '10 and '11.  '12s had chrome and I have a '12, but like the painted ones better.  Just blends in better with the TP, IMO.

Again, nice bike!

You gotta know we only live once and taking it with ya will not be near as fun as enjoying it now. The photos do not do this bike justice, it is the first ultra cvo colors that I truely like. I just don't care for loud colors and this bike has a classey look. When in the sun the complimates come out. You can't go wrong but they are hard to find. I was lucky and received the first one in Colorado, not that it matters but i knew what I wanted.

For 38K you would think it would be included......and at least have a hint of gold. I know I know i have one from my 11 cvo convertable and it is high polished brass...still

Was at Tilleys in Salisbury, NC Sat. Saw a guy plunk down $40K for the same scoot you have. Sounds like you did good.

I paid listed retail price at the same time the dealership's manager was telling me they could get 40K or more. I had bought two other bikes in less than 10 years from the same dealer...fortunantly made the difference....being a regular customer. Oh and my oldest son purchased a bike from them as well in 05.

Congrats on the new ride.  I ordered the same anniversary model back in August -- one of only 2 being shipped to Alaska -- but it won't be built until February.  Can you tell me if your model includes the new retractable tour pack lid teather?  If not, I need to scavange the one I bought for my '09 ultra.

It's gonna come with the tether, but you might want to check out this thread: http://www.cvoharley.com/smf/index.php?topic=75762.0  :2vrolijk_21:

Didn't realize the included retractable tether is prone to failure.  I'll be sure to be more gentle opening the tour pack lid, especially when I have luggage on the tour pack rack.
