That chart looks the same as what we saw. However I think that the new mufflers have a new core.. Still a gamble really..

Well I already have them so I will give them a try.  We are going with Fullsac X pipe "C" TTS mastertune that Steve Cole is currently working on. .030 head gaskets and an Andrews 57 cam with the CFR's. I think we are replacing bearings and push rods but not sure. Leaving that to Dave. My appointment is on the 24th and should be ready for pick up on the 27th. I will post the Dyno sheet when done. Here's to success :cherry:

I hope!!! :bananarock:

While in there you may want to consider an upgrade to the lifters...I sure would.  I don't know which lifters I'd get, but there are many here who can make good suggestions for those parts.  The stock lifters are a known issue, sooner or later.

I would be curious to see what the new core in the CFR changes if anything.  I will not gamble with that kind of money.

Seems to me, lots of the loss is right where a bagger that does lots of long road trips spends most its time.

I REALLY REALLY love the sound of the CFR's. Has there been any improvement on the low end torque loss? I was all set to buy these until I did some research and kept seeing this issue pop up?

I have and really like the CFR look and sound. Here is the dyno chart with them. The green is CFR. The other two are fullsac 2" with x pipe. The build is hd 10.5-1 pistons 777 cams and 030 gaskets. No headwork, just cam piston install and tts tune. I have both maps, so in 30 mins I can swap slipons and remap for either sound or preference. Look and sound of the CFR is better, although a lot louder. Long rides get the fullsac for sure.. Just a look at what lots of people with any kind of build say about the CFR, not bashing them at all. Fullsac is a tough combo to beat for bolting on, no matter if it is stage 1 or 2 with his maps and products. good luck, have fun, and enjoy riding no matter what you go with!!!!

Can anyone verify if this issue was remedied? I was going to buy some CFR's in the morning they are 15% off right now.
