Wow, that truck has almost as much black and chrome on it as "Ol' Maudie". Looking good Hubbard. [smiley=xyxthumbs.gif]

Hey there Hubbard-

I just stumbled across this thread! Sorry it took so long to respond. Lynn, Amy, Dan & I had a great time talking to you in the pits! It was good to finally meet you. Our expectations where right on [smiley=xyxthumbs.gif]! What a bummer for the brake gremlins >:( The boy started making his move's then...the brakes went south...he sure did a good job keepin' it off the wall though...for a few laps I thought he was gonna hit hard [smiley=nervous.gif]...but he saved it! I hope the trip back home went good. Did you get that Wisconsin grime off the Western Star yet? What a beauty that black beast is! I'm posting our group photo. Tomorrow I'll post the rest of the photo's in the CVO Cup forum.

Take Care, [smiley=xyxthumbs.gif]

Grover & Lynn

p.s. Thanks for the hats :)

Hey, Grover, I enjoyed havin' ya'll!  Wish you could have seen the Kid in his element.  Maybe next time.  Fired the Crew Chief, this morning.  Things will be better now.  BTW, can't get my Fantasy Nextel Racing to come up.  Please advise.  [smiley=xyxthumbs.gif] Later--HUBBARD

We had a good time also. I Tivo'd the race, and watched it Wednesday night. It was a real bummer...You could tell in Derek's interwiew that his heart is really into it. He seems like a real good kid. How old is he anyway? Dan wants to go Iowa and check out that race also. Hopefully with the changes to the team all will work for the better [smiley=xyxthumbs.gif]

Grover,
He is a good kid, for sure.  No Booze, No drugs.  Focused on Racing.  He's 20 years old.  We're going to Lakeland, FL, to Race on Sept. 2nd.  It's a Southern Series Race, so we won't get any points.  As Lakeland is one of the Six Championship Races, we will use the Race to get a Baseline Set-up, for the Championship Race, on Nov. 25th.  The first of six Championship Races, is Newton, Iowa, on Friday, Sept. 15.  We get a free Test there, on Sept. 14, as it is a Brand New Race Track.  Owned by Rusty Wallace, BTW.  I think we will do much better with this new Team.  Hell, IMO, we have no where to go, but up!  Later--HUBBARD
