I have Progressive 940's on my '12 FLTRXSE... (I had them on my '09 for about 100 miles before trading the '09 in for the '12) But I left them in the box for 14 months... I put them on this weekend... I feel like a doofus for NOT changing to them earlier.

I had also purchased monotubes which are NIB.. something to do later this week.

A lot of people swear by Suspension Technologies 13".  I put them on mine, and they're much better than stock.

PM Jim (hd_dude).  He sells them, and says they're better than the Progressives.

Go with the Ohlins from Howard.  I got the JRI 13" from Howard and I'm not impressed.  Not easily adjustable and not the improvement over Premium HD's that I was looking for.

Disappointed in your report on the JRI's. I picked those up during the winter too. Haven't ridden on it yet other than around the block. Would love to see some other input. Really don't want to have to change them out.

I also really hope these work out.  I haven't got a chance to put very many miles on.  Hopefully getting them set correctly will solve the problem, but they are not easy to adjust.  If I knew I would need to buy two special wrenches to adjust these things, I wouldn't have bought them.

I have Ohlins 159 13" with adjustable length, and adjustable rebound. There is virtually no change in ride height with the adjustment at its shortest setting.  Ohlins work great! No issues at all.  I have a good amount of experience with ohlins on my track bike, they make an amazing difference.  I know the RG is not a track bike but it can certainly benefit from Ohlins technology and experience.  Street price is about 100 under MSRP.
