A Texan goes to North Carolina,....

And stops off at the barber shop for a trim. The barbers asks where he's from and why he's visiting. The Texan tells him he's looking at buying some farm land. The barber says, "I got me a nice spread, 35 acres, how much land you got in Texas"? Not wanting to brag about his large acreage, the Texan says, "Well come sun up I can get in my truck and drive all day and never make it to the other side before sunset". The barber pauses with a long face and says, "Damn,....boy you need buy a better running truck, that's what I did".

Naw, couldn't be. Effen he was, he couldn't afford more than two acres unless it was in Hell on earth called the Mojave desert. He'd have to be one heckuva farmer to git any crops to grow in that.
