23" Wheel ????

Anybody put a 23" on the front of there Road glide and not raked it? I'm looking at buying another bike that the gentleman put a 23" wheel on and changed the fender out but didn't rake or cut anything. It's got about 3k miles and he says theres no issues, rides great and handles perfect, haven't rode it yet myself? I'm just worried about hitting a big pot hole and smacking the fender, long trip ride ability, or any other issues with it. But it Looks goooooood.

Everything I have read says you have to rake it to have the proper trail for handling.

Most say not only do you need new triple trees the frame needs to be cut.

Pickard USA is the only one I have seen that makes a kit and guaranties their trees angle will not require a frame cut.

I have been researching a 23.

This is my friend's SERG with a 23" front.  He had the wheel custom built to match the blade wheels.  You can see that it has been slightly raked.  As I recall, Fred installed a kit and did no cutting on the frame.  The bike seems to handle nicely.   If you need details, let me know and I will get them for you.
