I had the 1.75 on my 12' FLHXSE3 and just recently went to the 2.0.  I like the 2.0 better because it definitely has a deeper rumble than the 1.75 which I like better.  Although the 1.75 were nice in their own right.  But you know I have come to find out that playing around with the amount of wrapping around the baffles is everything.  You can go from really loud to a mellow tone depending on how much you use.  Especially with the 2.0 version!  I first installed the 2.0 version with both baffles wrapped loosely with one layer.  Was a little quieter than I wanted so then I completely unwrapped just the left side and it qot a lot louder.  So then I half wrapped the left side with the right side still completely wrapped and ended up with the tone and sound that suits my taste and riding style.  All subjective but with enough trial and error you will find your "sweet" spot.

How does the 2" versus the 2.25" for sound and is there any more power gain?

When I bought mine, Fullsac told me that the 2.0" made more power than the 1.75" OR the 2.25".  I'm using the 2.0" w/o any wrapping, and I'm very pleased with them.  I haven't heard any 2.25" for a sound comparison.

I have not heard any comparrisons only that the 2" seem to make the most power. I would only think the 2.25 would be louder.

Attached is my Dyno w 2" baffles, TTS, and B x-pipe.  I changed out the 1.75s.  Lower/deeper rumble at low rpm.  Not much difference at highway or interstate speeds.  Prefer the 2" myself.  Better flow of exhaust gases.

If you can't see the small print, 100.09 HP, 117.55 torque.

From my understanding, the 2.25" are louder and the 2.0" are like 1 or 2 more HP then the 2.25" cores.
With time, each size baffle will get some what louder. I have the 2.25" CVO cores and I couldn't be more
happy with them!

Either way you decide, the Fulsac set up is great for the touring bikes. Radio friendly and still rumbles when you get
on it.

With our baggers, most of the sound that these scooters make, we can't hear them really unless some is riding our
bike and we are standing on the curb.

Ride Safe,
