I went to Radio Shack -- nothing even close. I've researched on the web and there must be more than 25 different coax connector types. I've looked at over a hundred pictures of connectors but nothing looks close to this. It's interesting in that they put the male plug on the antenna end (like a bulkhead connector) and the female end on the cable which is just the reverse of most installation examples. Most installations use the female connector for fixed connectors. If I can't find a compatable replacement, my next option is to see if I can use my Dremel tool to cut the barrel where it's crimped and pull the cable, trim it and reconnect. Since it's inside and protected, weather isn't an issue and there's a 90 degree strain relief bracket attached to the connector. I really don't want to have to order the whole cable assembly if I can avoid it. BTW, I've heard enough horror stories about the reduced reception with the 'hidden' antenna that I don't want to go that route. Besides, I'd still have the CB antenna back there so I wouldn't be cleaning up the rear unless I removed both. I don't mind the look of the dual antennas.
