Last week my new (to me) Reinhardt 4" mufflers arrived.  I was going out of town for a 5 day trip the next day, so didn't try to mount them until last evening.  When I bought the bike last year, it came equipped with the complete set of 3.5" true duels.  I believe the headers are Reinhardt also, but not sure.  After fighting with the pipes for over an hour to get them off, (the left one was a real beach) I discovered the diameter of the 4" mufflers are the exact same size as the headers, so they won't slip over the headers.  Chit!

Is there a solution for this?  Any help would be most appreciated.

I used a S&S headpipe.I know thats not what you wanted to hear.By the way,i have the same exact bike.

The four inch mufflers Rinehart sells aren't designed to work with their old stepped headpipes, and I'm assuming you have those headpipes.  If you really want to use those mufflers, you may have to consider changing headpipes.  You might be able to have a local muffler shop use their commercial pipe expander on the muffler inlets to "stretch" the metal enough to get them on, but you could also split the inlets and make the mufflers useless.  I don't think I'd try that approach.

Nice pipes too.  Thanks!  The crossover under the bike is a better option than the current set up.  I wasn't counting on having to fork out another 500 bucks, but I'll let you know what my decision is, once made.

It turned out nice and there are other headpipes.I just wanted those 4 inch Rineharts from the moment i saw them.You can sell your tru duals and recover some of yhe money.I sold mine for 450.00 the day after i took thm off.
