Howdy...new member from Texas

Not a new rider, but new to this forum. Currently own a 2005 Herigtage, 2004 Dyna, and in May traded a 2007 Ultra for a 2012 CVO Ultra, which now has over 12000 miles on it. The wife and I left Texas on June 14 and got back home on August 15, riding through 29 states and 4 Canadian Provinces for a total of 8,762 miles.

The immediate input I hope to receive from the forum is what have you guys done to reduce the heat generated by the 110" SE, and to address the crappy fuel/ethanol that we are facing. Would like to add a little rumble but not to the degree that I can't hear myself think.

So let me have it, what have you guys done to address these issues?

Welcome from South LoUiSiAna!  Glad to hear you are really enjoying your new ride!  Check out the tread titled "Exhaust/Intake/ECM".  You will find lots of information about different kinds of exhaust for the 110's.  This topic has been discussed at great length!  Just a suggestion, I took off my lowers and it helped tremendously with the heat.  Didn't do anything for the sound but it sure made me more comfortable!  Ride safe & post some pictures of the new scoot!

Welcome, down here in Louisiana we find taking off the fairing lowers in the summer makes the heat manageable.
