Just got my first cvo after trading my 05 Ultra for a 07 cvo and I thought it would be cool to replace the leather wrapped tour pack with one custom painted to match the bike. Anyone tried this? Any suggestions?

Welcome to the forum and the CVO community.
There have been several here that have done the conversion away from the leather tour pak. It's quite easy and all parts that you will need are easily obtained. Do a quick search here to see some examples.
Personally, I love the look of the leather ones. It sets the 06-07 bikes apart from the rest.
The leather ones are smaller and a bit more work to keep looking like new though.

Best part of owning a Harley is its your bike and you can do whatever you like to it.
The only limits are set by your wallet. Even that limit is more like a suggestion around here.
Wander over to the New Members Introduction forum, say hi and havea look around. This is the most informed place anywhere when it comes to CVO's and Harles in general.

I've seen on the site a few picture of it and IMO it looks really nice. Anyone could tell me if someone have removed the leather of the tour pack to get it painted. Think it could be nice.
