I am in the middle of removing the factory header for the stage 1 fullsac kit. Before I mess something up, I have a question about removing the header gaskets and flanges. I have seen a post where some have said replace the gaskets and some have reused the factory gaskets. I only have 2150 miles on the bike, so I would like to reuse if possible. Now how do I get them off of the factory header and on the fullsac header? How do you remove and install the header flanges? I feel kind of stupid asking these questions, but I have not seen any posts that address this and there are no instructions with the fullsac header. Any information would be greatly appreciated.

Sorry, guys. I just figured out what was needed to remove the flange keeper (not a gasket as I called it) and flange. See I told you I felt stupid asking these questions.   :-\

Do yourself a favor and replace all of the gaskets.  The ones at the heads, and the ones between the pipe sections.  They're cheap, and odds are they won't seal if you try to re-use them...  It's a lot of work to do twice...   :2vrolijk_21:

X2.  Always better to replace things like gaskets/"O" rings when everything is off.  It's a inexpensive precaution and worth every penny... :2vrolijk_21:

I had a lot of trouble getting the Fullsac header to mate up to the heads. I had to completely remove the support bracket next to the O2 sensor connections. Attached flange on rear head first, had to muscle the front tube in place to start the flange nuts. Before I continue I am going to get a couple sets of gaskets. Remove the header, install new gaskets and hope I don't damage this set.

Tilt and rotate them in from up high instead of trying to sneak them in from below... ???
