Who has had what results with the new TBW thundeermax?

Just installed the Tmax on my 09 FLHT. Its a 107 with too much compression, street ported heads and S&S 585 easy start cams . It's been a problem child..Tuned 4 different times by competent tuners with the SEPRT and once with the REV Perf EMS..There has always been issues eg.. hard starts, poor mileage,pinging, and decel popping.I installled the Thundermax, ran autotune, and pulled out a little timing..Wow the bike has never run so well ever..This thing is a beast!!

The best dyno run was 112/123 with a SEPRT.. It may not make that now but the butt dyno says its not far behind...NO ISSUES..this thing just flat runs good!!

I had a SEPRT on my bike when I got it.  It ran good etc but it did ping once in a while.  I bought the cable and software to tune with it but the software is horrible to work with.  I gave up and bought a TMax.  Bike runs great, no issues so far.

Still waiting for zippers to come out with a unit for my sled....they keep saying later this year but its almost november lol

I have been running a thunder max for 8 plus years now. I had one of the first production units after all of the testing was done. I am still a happy customer. I have a SRET on my new bike right now. When I go into the motor this winter it will have a Thunder Max in the spring when I start riding again.

My last bike a hopped up 103 in a 2011 FLHX had the thundermax and I loved it.  My 2012 FLHXSE3 has a SEPRT and I do not like it as well as the thundermax.  I am either going to change to the TTS Mastertune or go back to the Thundermax.  I had zero issues on mine.

i have had the T-MAX with AUTO TUNE for about 2 yrs., changed the exhaust about a year ago all i had to do was ride, the auto tune made all the changes it takes about 100 to 150 miles of interstate and twisties for it to settle in.
