And the sportster is the perfect harley that does not have any issues   :nixweiss:
Tell this to the owner of an 05 sportster that had an oil pump failure that caused the cams to seize in the inner bushings. Bushings spun in the case destroying it. Yep perfect. :confused5:

Why is this guy just picking on the T/C's?
Has he ever seen the inside of a Shovel/Iron XL @ 45-50,000, or the archaic clutch system that the Moco ran from 1936-1986, on the B/T's.
What about the famed r/cyl base gaskets on Evo's?
Just a guy with the case of the a$$ at the Moco, because HIS bike acted up, making noise.
Much flawed/incorrect/incomplete/unqualified information. Some truth.

He has not told us anything we don't already know!!!! We have known about all of these problems for a while now. I guess I will unload my new SEULTRA and go buy me a SPORTSTER!!!!

little truth,most not,but i think we all know HD`s arnt goldwings (and im glad for that!)1,4 & 6 are fairly true,exept the "out of balance"crap,but the lower ends,as far as geting out of true is a MAJOR problem,as is #1 with the cam chains.the rest of it sounds pretty much like retoric (as far as holding their value,chit,I wish ANYTHING would hold its value in this economy!!)

Gee Whiz...,This guy really has a beef with the MOCO.  :nixweiss:  I was trying to do the math in my head for everything he tells you that you need to replace and with labor and I was coming up with around $8 to $9K to replace everything he suggests.  That's CRAZY  :'(

Here's this first clue it's a scam and the guy doesn't know what he's talking about:

On the cover of his manual, it shows HD Syn-3 being used to change the fluids.  What self respecting mechanic would use that snake oil? :nixweiss: ;)

Unfortunately, he is right on too much of the stuff he's complaining about. :-\
