Hi fokes new to the harley scene but been into bikes for 40 plus years started on BSA's then Jap two strokes Jap fours ,BMWs .Done very little riding over the last 10 years due to work and apathy but I am sure that is going to change. For the last two years I have been thinking of getting a new bike I still have a 1978 honda 750 4 but time for a change ,it was while on holiday in spain, the wife and i were enjoying a beer on the sea front watching a nice variety of bikes going past when my wife commented on the fact that i only stood up to look when it was a harley going past. This was something that i had been doing for a time when i gave it some thought ,the harley at the fuel stop,the harley pulling away from the lights, the harley on the motorway all required the window on my pickup to be wound down . So upon my return home it was off to the harley shop, I decided on a soft tail slim with the 110 engine but I wanted more chrome and the wife was not happy with the seating arrangement so I decided to see what 2013 had to offer . The moment that I saw the Breakout I was smitten I showed the bike to friends and family. They loved the bike but thought my choice of colour was not right in candy gold dust , so I phoned the dealer and placed an order for one in black diamond. One week later I phoned the dealer back and changed the colour to the gold dust. For me it just stands out and looks a little radical, so four months after my holiday I find myself a changed man, catching up with old friends, planing trips out and much to my wife and sons amusement posting on a forum .
