Can't throw in much on the subject but would like to say and thank Steve at Fullsac for putting out top notch products and being there for any issues that arise.

Ok, maybe I missed something earlier, but to figure the area of a circle, or in this case, an exhaust pipe. Area = pi x R2, or 3.14159 x the radius squared.  Figured that way, an oval (squashed) pipe has the same area as a circular pipe of the same diameter even though it is not a perfect circle. Or, figured differently, take the circumference divided by pi (3.14159) which will give you diameter, divide that in half to get radius.

You might be too smart to be posting here!?! LOL!

I think that torque curve needs a bit more support to take care of the slight dip.

I tried the Fullsac X pipe with 2" cones and ran a dyno with a base map. I to was told of the restrictions in the cross over, I swapped the pipes out for Dragos 2 into one with 3" baffle, Ran the dyno with the same base map. I saw very little change HP went down 1 and TQ went up 2, I then tried the MGS true dauls and ran the dyno again on the base tune. All three runs were almost identical. I stayed with the MGS pipes for looks and sound. I had it dialed in on the dyno. But the bottom line is that with all the claims of power that each maker says that you will get I can say that I did not see it. All the pipes I tested were very good and I like them all very much. For the money the Fullsac X pipe wins hands down. So it comes down to the looks and sound you want (and of course price) I spent alot of money buying all tree sets, but I finally got what I wanted and anwsered all of my questions. I hope that this helps others with their questions. I did not have the dyno charts printed out because they were just base runs. They are however still on the computer at my friends shop if I ever need them.

You can send me one Steve....I'll try it out and give you my results
Doc
You and I can both dyno it, but I'm trying to catch up with this new trend of visual performance analysis. The ability to "see the speed".
I have been looking at this long enough that I'm starting to think it will make zero gain on the builds below 100HP and about 1-2 HP
on say a 120R hitting the 125+ mark.

Does it look any faster with the round pipe? Its time to play "see the speed". What's your prediction?

Then we will dyno it and see if we are good as the current crop of visionaries.

Steve, I'm sorry I couldn't do better man.  But after thousands of man-hours-milliseconds I was able to work this up for you.  Hope it helps.

Don, I'm afraid for you.  Anyone who sees horsepower and torque curves in that picture is in serious trouble. :nervous:

You need to back away from the keyboard, and do something non-motorcycle related for a day or two.

I only mention this because I care. :-*

The bottom end chart looks fine.

The only thing I found out about this bottom end is, when using syn3 it gets too slippery.

Can you still use it in all three holes? Or is that outdated too?

My mechanic said I need to go with the standard oil to quiet it down.  Seems to have this annoying noise on the top end.

There is a readily available plug that stops the noise and hot air top side. Temp fix that requires negotiating. The silence is priceless.
