Hi folks,

Just found this site a few days ago.  I am anxiously awaiting delivery of my first CVO, a 2013 Breakout(wow, goofy name?!).  It is on the truck and will arrive at my dealer this Friday, 10/26-Crimson Red. 

Currently own: 
2008 105th Anniversary Softail Custom-heavily modified/doesn't really resemble an anniversary bike anymore  :o
2012 10th Anniversary V-Rod

I have always liked the CVO's, but nothing really grabbed me, as I have my Custom modified perfectly for me.  Then I saw the intro of the Breakout and the crimson red just knocked me out of my chair.  Called my dealer up immediately and it just so happens the owner's brother was at the dealer show, and told her they had to order this bike in red....so I guess it was meant to be!

Oh, East Tennessee.  I grew up in Memphis and spent a lot of time in the Smokies.  I was just down there for 4 days with both of my bikes.  Rode the Dragon and surrounding roads for the first time.. WOW, what a rush.  My favorite though was RT 28, where it starts at the sound end of the Dragon, and rode it all the way into South Carolina.  Most fantastic road I have ever been on, and I have been on a bunch.  Nothing but twisties for almost 100 miles, and absolute perfect pavement.  I did it during the week and I swear I think I saw 10 cars the whole way....it was like I had my own private road....unbelievable...

I am going to be doing that trip twice a year:  late April and September, during the week, when the roads are virtually empty!

Thanks,  i know your area very well.  A branch of my company is in Plymouth on Nathan Lane, near Bass Lake Road....I've been going up there a couple of times a year since 1998.

Man, those deer flies in the summer are nasty !
