Paint or not to paint, that is the question
« on: October 26, 2012, 05:27:35 PM »

Wanted a little more hand protection for the winter, so I added a Bob Dron fairing. I modified the brackets so they are quick disconnect which worked perfectly. Sending brackets off to get them chromed (don't know why they don't come that way).

I have posted a couple of images and am trying to decide whether or not to plaint black or to color match. Local painter checked and feels he can match perfectly. They do crash work and have access to Harley paint. I kind of like the black look but playing around in photoshop. Haven't done anything yet.

Open for your thoughts.

if you have a great painter, I'd vote for the color match.

Last photoshop paint job.  Color looks pretty good on the bike. I too think color matched is the way to go.
