Air cleaner wise the Kury street sleeper II has worked well for us on big inch engines and it does not create any issue with leg room. The engine of the filter flows air and the backing plate works very well.. Better than most from testing on the dyno. Just an option. At this point 143 hp is as high as we have tested it.

Finally got the new 120R dyno tuned! It's putting out 129 ft-lbs and 125 hp -not the biggest, baddest 120R out there, but not bad either.

We ended up using the following parts:
T-Man 662-1 cams
HPI 55mm Throttle body
SE 5.3 injectors
Fullsac "D" x-pipe
Fullsac 2.25" CVO muffler cores
Ventilator A/C

Here's a photo of the lifter that started our 120R motor change. It looks pretty bad for only 25,000 miles! You can see a flat spot where the chunking became bad enough that the roller couldn't roll anymore, and just started sliding. It squeaked and chirped pretty badly at that point, at least until the knocking noise started...

When life hands you limes, make Margaritas!!  :drink:

Now THAT'S quality!  If you had a car or truck that did that at 25,000 miles would you think, "well, maybe time to put a new engine in there?"  No wonder the MOCO relies on clothing and accessories.

Don't forget to replace the compensator with a new screamin eagle p/n 40274-08a,the 120R will shred the old one in no time!

I had that on my list to replace, but when my dealer checked the individual part numbers vs the SE compensator parts they said that my '10 CVO Ultra came with one from the MoCo. I'm hoping they're right about it... Anybody know for sure whether I still need to upgrade it?  ???

H-D made the SE compensator standard on the CVO's for 2010, so at least you don't have the ultra cheap POS the people with 2007-2009 CVO's got.  However, the SE compensator has been through a revision or two and still has premature wear issues on current production parts.  So you still need to figure on adding a compensator inspection to your regular maintenance schedule going forward.  The new compensators do not come close to holding up like the old 2006 and previous design.

Not that the MOCO admits there's an issue with their SE compensator  ::), but they make a kit with the necessary replacement parts that regularly wear out - so you don't have to replace the entire compensator when the inevitable happens.  The kit is 83935-09A.  You can buy the kit from Kutter HD's online store for $182.00.

Maybe not the highest peak HP, but 110 TQ at 2500 and 120 TQ at 3000 rpm is a freight train! The arc of your TQ line is beautiful.
6th gear roll ons, this bike has to be a monster! And I bet its quiet at 75 MPH cruise too.

Have fun!

I run the same cams and throttle body/injectors in my 120r and have over 15K happy miles on it now.  The low end torque is quite impressive!   :2vrolijk_21:
