New to a 110
« on: October 28, 2012, 06:35:19 PM »

Looking for some 110 performance advice. I have a new CVO Roadking. I went with V&H power duals, monster rounds, and a SE Super tuner.
I'm looking for torque, and want to maintain my reliability. I mostly ride 2 up, back roads with hills. A nice increase across the usable riding range.

I had a 103 that I did the same thing to, I went with a 255 cam, the 110 comes with a 255. What cam will do for my 110 that the 255 did for my 103

Also thinking about doing the .030 gasket swap to get a bump in comp.

Since I have the heads off I was thinking Porting and polishing

Should I consider a 58mm throttle body

With the right cam what kind of numbers might I get ?

Thanks from the new guy

lots of suggestions here if you search.  a lot will depend on whether you plan to leave the motor stock or bump up the compression in the future.  If stock then consider the Woods 555, Andrews 54h and others will come along with other suggestions.

With stock motor, the same exhaust set up as you but with a power commander I got - 98 HP and 120.2 Torque.  This thing is ready to jump at multiple speeds.

for a milder up grade that will have "stock like" reliability, get a little more compression (around 9.7-1)and a set of cams (S&S .583`s work very nice).dont sweat the heads, for milder, low end torque builds their fine stock.we`ve done this a couple times and have very happy customers with it
