UTAH AUTUMN from NM border to Lake Powell

Went to Albuquerque, NM for the Balloon Fiesta in October.

These are some pics from my trip going home. I was very surprised by the beauty of the area.

From Colorado hwy 160 and CO hwy 41 junction north into Utah. Co 41 becomes Utah 162.

UT hwy 162 to Bluff UT, UT hwy 163 to Valley of the Gods.

UT hwy 163 to UT hwy 261 north.  Just past the Valley of the Gods Road turnoff hwy 261 climbs to the summit overlooking the valley.  The road is very winding and turns into a gravel road for 3 miles.  If you can ride on gravel the road views are worth the trip. Speed limit is 15 mph.

Discovered a couple of days before that a lifter went out in my Road Glide so I had to do the trip in our Acura. Thus I'm posting in Pictures versus Ride Report. (The moderator is a stickler when it comes to rules!) :nixweiss:
