LEDs on saddle bag rails
« on: November 02, 2012, 06:41:14 PM »

Just finished installing the LED kit for the airwing rails on my saddle bags. they don't work (well, 1 did for a little while), and before you say it, wiring is ok. So, my question is, are they supposed to run on 5.7 - 6.5 volts? If not then i guess they are no good from out of the box. :confused5: checked volts at the connector that disconnects at the bag and where the split harness connects under the seat.

I'm not an electrical specialist but IMHO they should need 12 volts to work.
