Full Sac x-pipe package vs True Duals w/tuner & Map
« on: November 04, 2012, 04:34:45 PM »

Ready to get my pipe on - the more I review and talk with people looks like the x-pipe package stage 1 is nice add for the power and sound

I am leaning towards the x-pipe just to keep the costs and the full CVO look, my previous bikes had Bassani's and Vance&Hines with full packages both impressive.

are there a few full sac owners out there that can give me some feed back

Put simply...hundreds of people aren't wrong.  The Fullsac Stage I is the best, and also one of the least expensive.  It just works.  Easy to install, fantastic customer support, and great performance.  What's left?

Agreed... I started with Rinehart true duals... Switched to Fullsac X pipe with Steve's 2.0 cores in the stock mufflers.

Then switched to 2.25 cores... And now have settled on V&H Hi Outputs.  The X pipe is a quality piece... Coupled with a TTS MasterTune, as a previous poster stated, infinitely tunable!

I think the days of true duals are long gone. On the old carbed bikes, they may have had a place - but on todays modern EFI, O2 sensor-equipped bikes you really need the scavenging that a properly-designed crossover system gives you.

I had the Fullsac X-Pipe B and the 2" CVO baffles before I went to the Drago's S/C/S-4 and I really liked them. Unless you want to go the 2-1 route - and it does make tuning more difficult because of the inherent dips in the VE tables - I would highly recommend the Fullsac headers and baffles. They are a very well-engineered, quality product - and they use the stock heat shields and CVO cans, so they retain the stock look. Fullsac also provides a TTS calibration that is very good - and a few TTS VTune runs will dial it in even closer for your particular bike.

I replaced Vance & Hines True Duels with the Fullsac X headpipe and gained 5 Hp and 10 lbs of TQ
and greatly reduced my heat that I still had with the True Duels.
