Correct Replacement shock height?
« on: August 31, 2006, 08:42:38 AM »

I have a 2005 Screaming Eagle Electra Glide. We can not take the back breaking jolts to our spines any longer.

12" is correct. You have a choice between standard and Heavy duty springs as well. If you ride 2-up most of the time or your over 220# or so you'll want the heavy duty springs. I had the heavy duty shocks on mine and changed them to the standards as I'm about 200# and ride solo most of the time.

And I appreciated it!  I bought Jim's heavy duty shocks.  They are a bit "bouncier" than the air shocks but with a 15w fork oil and these shocks the bike handles great and is VERY stable

The 12" is the proper size for a direct factory replacement.

Yep - I'm interested in the front end upgrade too

I'm fed up with grounding out on curves so I'm going for 12.5" at the rear and hopefully something a little longer than standard at the front

Cheers

What's the best price anyone has found on the 440's?
