Well, I installed the spacers on the floorboards, but the angle remains the same due to the fact that you've got to take the oil cooler, and plate off to get to the bolts if you want to move them up any on the front. The spacers are going to help a great deal, I think. Also adjusted the shifters so that the toe shifter is a bit lower...sits on top of my boot lightly now instead of an inch above it as before. Lowered the back one a notch too. I'll see if I can get used to it...my brain is programmed for the toe, so we'll see. With the boards out the extra 3/4" I'll be able to catch the toe shifter with the edge of my toe, which is the way I prefer it.
Thanks for all the tips/tricks/suggestions. It would probably work out better for me to stay with the toe since the Vrod is only toe, and it sits right where I like it too. Don't need to be having to think about these things...needs to be automatic.
