Running 4" Rineharts with stage 1 on your 110??
« on: November 08, 2012, 11:49:49 PM »

So who is running 4" Rinehart slipons with no more than stage 1 and cat removed on their 110?  Not true duals.  If so, how do you like the Rineharts with this setup?  I pretty much know the Rinehart note but was more wondering about how loud they may or may not be and if they sound deep?  Comparison to Fulsac 1.75" or 2.0" cores would be a plus.

Thanks

I have them too with power chamber VH. Their tone is different than the 3.5" rineharts I had on my previous bike. They are loud but I am changing them to CFR

I bought the bike with a catless headpipe and stock mufflers with, what I was told were 2.25" Fullsac baffles (but I suspect they were 2").

After awhile I put on the Fullsac B headpipe, then after deciding I wanted a more aggressive exhaust sound, I put on the 4" Rineharts.

The Rineys are definitely mean sounding at idle, and are deep and loud enough for me. They are noticably more aggressive sounding then my Fullsacs, especially at idle.

Many say the 2.25" Fullsac baffles sound close to the 4" Rineharts, which come with a 2.25" baffle as well. That's why I suspect I may have had the 2" baffles all along, because there was a noticable difference as compared to the Rineys, especially at idle.

My Fullsacs did have a nice sound, but I just wanted a bit more. That's why I didn't sell them- they may go back on the bike someday when I get a bit older, lol.

Hey, good stuff North Star.  I had 3.5" Rineharts on a bike with a 96 and really liked them.  They were just right.  For the CVO though I would want the 4".  But I suspect from what I am hearing that they may a little too loud for my taste.  If it were for just city cruising around they would work fine I know but on long trips, which I take several a year, I know they would probably pound my ears.  But man I like the Rinehart note and looks.

I have 4" Rhinehearts with VH Dreser Duals ( True Duals ) and love the sound. Agressive around town and nice at 75mph on Highway. Best of both worlds in my opinion.

I have them on with the Fullsac headpipe.
The 4" Rinehart's have a 2 1/4" baffle so that is how loud it is.
It's a bit too loud for me (but I'm an old man) so I am putting the Fullsac 2" baffle in my stock mufflers.
Rinehart only has a 2 1/2" baffle as another option.

Just installed these 4" Rineharts, purchased from another forum member.

These are the True-Duels and nearly 30-40% louder than the 3.5 Rineharts.

No doubt I have to be more careful around LEO!

I have just removed the 4" Rineharts after 6 months of running them. I had the cat removed on the stock exhaust also with no issues. There was no problem with the Rineharts. I chose Freedom Performance just for the sound after I heard them at this years Street Vibrations in Reno. Got a really great, deep sound now.

Have the 4" Reinhart slip-ons with the catless fullsac header on my '11 CVO Ultra.  Terrific sound and performance!

I put the VH dresser duals on mine with the 4" Rhineharts last winter. Loved the sound but after the first trip with the BSR was lovingly convinced to get something a little quiter. I put the 2" Fulsac on and it is much easier at highway speeds. (I wasn't happy about switching but I'm glad I did now) Final assessment: The 4" Rhinehart is hard to beat for around town riding but a little loud for extended trips.

Same here  ;D. I love this combination, but I wouldn't want to go any louder.  :'(
