TTS tune and Stage III (27548-10A) kit
« on: November 09, 2012, 09:30:08 PM »

I have an 08 SEUC that has Rhineharts, air breather, and race tuner.  I am getting ready to install the Stage III kit which has the 10.5-1 pistons and SE-259E cams.  I found a dealer to sell me the kit minus the race tuner since I already had it.  I think I am going to switch from the race tuner and go with the TTS.  My question is there anyone out there with this combination that would have a map for me to start with for the TTS.

We have not installed the parts yet and my bike dyno'd at 94hp and 107tq.  With the new parts and TTS what does everyone think I'll get?

Just wondering why?
Do you have someone that will (has the knowledge) to tune your bike when finished?
IMHO, the TTS is more versatile than the race tuner you have, but you already have one and the tune "can" be very close to match your parts.
Sounds like you have a baseline to compare the before and after.......let us know how it works out!

You may be able to upgrade your SERT, also. http://www.mastertune.net/sert.htm

I will be interested to see what you get out of that combination, as I was considering that kit as well.

Yes.  My buddy who will be doing the tuning is more familiar, and likes, the TTS better.  He said its not that he can't learn the race tuner, but I can tell he just really doesn't want to learn that software.  So basically I am just accomidating him because he's doing all the work for nothing.  Plus he is going to be making a trip to Doc's training this next summer to become even better with the TTS and I might as well reap those benefits as well.  He told me it's not that big of a deal to have the map that I requested as he can go from what is on the bike now and get there, but was just hoping someone out there might have my same combo and have one that may be closer.
