Take a look at saddlebad secure by Brokus http://brukus.com/

I have installed these on my bikes and it's given me great peace of mind.

I also have bought extra to give out to my Buddies for X-Mas gifts  :2vrolijk_21:

X2 - I had my pins open up on me, since the Brukus - no issues!  Small investment for piece of mind.

I bought the backing nuts from NAPA auto parts and the stainless steel bolts from Lowes. Total cost was about $15.00 for two bikes.
Brukus was much more expensive but may have had stronger backing nuts.
