Me to.  Spent about an hour yesterday trying to figure out how to get it in my Razor.  I'm suspecting the carrier would rather you buy ring tones instead of rolling your own.

My kid has gotten a friend of hers to put ringtones on her phone, and I believe you have to have at minimum some type of patch cord to download them on your phone from your computer. You may even have to have some software from Motorola also. I also have the Razor, and Rineharts if you figure out how it is done let me know (I'll do likewise if I find out).

Whatever version of Motorola phone tools you get it will ask what phone you have when you set it up, and after it is loaded for the first time on you computer it will automatically update via online.

I was speaking of the sound files you have that we can download when I asked what version file I needed. I'm thinking I'll just download the needed sound file give that and my phone to kid, and have them put it in my phone at their friends house.

What kinda phone do you have 103?

I've got a Motorola V710.  I got the owner's manual out last night.  It's got a port for a memory card that I think I can use, just gotta get the card and card reader.  It's a freakin' small one!  If that fails, or is too expensive, I'll look at the link that you provided.  Thanks!
