The 10K review.... 2012 FLTRXSE

Well... The odometer just rolled over to 10K.

The last 3K have been trouble-free.

A couple of small hic-ups...

Small shipping damage (bike wasnt secured to the pallet)

Day 1: Oil cooler adapter plate missing seal/gasket

Day 4: Steering head wobble on decel (45 and slowing) adjusted, better

743 miles: Voltage regulator dealer had in stock, in and out 1 hour

1K service: All well... steering head adjusted again... better

2200 miles... nail in rear tire.... (Tire and wheel warranty ~ the new HD one rocks!)

5K service... all well... installed chopped TP... noted defect in paint. Covered by warranty.

6300 miles, front end wobble BAD.... Fall away checked @ 1 swing... front wheel removed, put on balancer, tech noted a defect in tire. Tire replaced. no more wobble.

7700 miles: Shrapnel in rear tire.... at 75...  :oops: Got the bike safely off the highway and had the shop pick it up. Fortunately I was close by. Back on the road in 1.5 hours including the trailer time back to the shop. I love the tire and wheel warranty.

Now at 10.4K... changing oil myself today as dealer is closed tomorrow and Friday.

Life is good... I still get an occasional lifter tick... but never sustained.

That's good the hear everything is turning out on the positive side after a few minor hickups.

Just over 20K on my Skunk.  I have not had it quite a full year yet.

Issues to date.

Voltage regulator failed at 12K on a trip to MI.

Warped front rotors at 15K.

Now just developed the front in wobble when slowing from 45mph.

Good bike to me so far.

I forgot about the VR. warped rotors at 15K?...

I'd ride more but I'd get dizzy.... the circles are small here...  :)
