OK TwoLane.....what we really need is a completely 'unbiased' opinion on the BBQ at his wife's joint.  We know Bubba couldn't give us anything but wonderful ratings due to his particular involvement with the proprietor, but surely a man that's traveled afar and tasted the best of the best in Rib Joints could give us a rating to help those of us that would have a far piece to travel  to partake.  Although, MV puts me a good ways closer to Ark than I am now.  :-/ har!  [smiley=drink.gif] spyder

Hey Don,
Ask Bubba, how he's s'pose to treat me to dinner at RED'S BBQ if he's already on his way to MV when I pass through Russellville.    [smiley=nixweiss.gif]

2lane Had a great time ridding with you today, enjoyed that new HD store and Eureka Springs was a blast. You was right Bubba's BBQ was great if I do say so myself but I don't understand why they made us pay for that after all I have the rights to that name [smiley=nixweiss.gif] [smiley=nixweiss.gif]

Hope your movie strategy work for you. ::)

Sorry guys.  Can't offer any insights on the proprietress' famous BBQ joint.  Mike and I actually kind of "met in the middle" today so we weren't close to his place.  We ended up eating BBQ anyway.  At a place called Bubba's!  It was ok.  Am sure Red's would have been better though.  The place we tried hadn't killed their chicken's yet.

Brian, closest we came to getting arrested was trying to entice a woman out of her tshirt while walking along the main drag in Eureka Springs, Arkansas.  So we're still safe for MV.

Mike, it was an outstanding day today.  Thanks a lot.  I had a great time too.  The weather was great and the company was better.  Just how close of a Close Encounter did you have with Bambi anyway?  I had a completely uneventful ride on home.  Made good time and tried your plan for the movie.  No luck.  It ended up being some stupid thing about bad-boy-makes-good-and-escapes-bad-life-through-dance.  I'm sure the unpublished subtitle was "And gag me with a spoon."  That's ok though, the movie sucked so bad I've not got to ride to Kansas City tomorrow for a baseball game just to get it out of my system  [smiley=xyxthumbs.gif] .

Wow Mike, that Bambi was messing with you big time.  He's probably got a little score card in his back pocket.  One column for "made 'em swerve," another for "made 'em give me the finger" and a lost one for "actually chit their pants!"

Now he's sitting back in front of his big screen deer TV, drinking a cold one, getting ready for the race later today; and just giggling everyone once in awhile thinking, "hehehe, got another one!"

Q, I'm leaving for the ballpark as soon as a buddy shows up to ride up with.  Should be anytime.  A Royals fan eh?  You guys are a small group!

I actually really like the little ballpark in KC.  Nice place to watch a game.  And it's only 2 hours and change away so it makes for a nice day ride up and back with the game sandwiched in between.  But I've got to admit to never having been a fan of the home team.  With the exception of the Red Sox I always root against the home team.  Nice thing about Royals games is that it's a pretty mellow crowd and they take it in stride.  Now Chiefs games, that's a whole different story.  Go up to Arrowhead for a couple games a year and also, always, root against the home time.  Doing that at a Chiefs games brings out the charity in the crowd though, you will occasionally get free beers.  Rarely with the cup still attached.  But they will offer the beer.....

Hey Bubba - got your card on this past weekend.  That was my black / slate CUSE at the Swiss Rodeway in Eureka Springs.
Thanks for dropping that off, sorry I missed you.   I'll drop you a line the next time we make it up that way.  I have to hit Push Mtn Rd and Rt 16 a couple times a year.
