When is the last time you replaced your key fob batteries?? Going on 3 years old, they are probably going dead. MOCO recommends yearly replacement of fob batteries.

X2 on the batteries. Try changing them and see if it helps.

FWIW the batteries in my fob only lasted 10 months from from taking delivery of the bike.
I now plan to replace the fob batteries every Februarywhile the bike is stored so when it come time for spring riding they are fresh.

Should be in the owners manual,  my 2011 FLHTCUSE6 takes a CR2032 button battery.

I keep a Few spare new ones in the tourpack at all times (they also are replaced anually - in June- ) since it would really suck to have them die while on the road
