There actually is a book out with the title "How to tell if your cat is trying to kill you" and these are some of the examples in the book. 

I bought the book for one of my cat owning friends.  She was upset when I told her that the last dog we rescued was having to find a new home since it tried to kill the owner's cat and that I did not think that behavior was a bad thing.
