Hey all. Been lurking and admiring here for a few years but never posted as I'm not a CVO owner. But now I have a question that you FLHTCUSE owners can help me with. Looking to change the tank console insert on my FLTRU to one of the CVO insert. But not sure which one or how many different versions there have been over the years. I know this year is the spun aluminum to match the gauges. What have the inserts looked like in previous years. Pics would great help if possible. Not really looking for any that have had any kind of CVO markings though. Not trying to make my ride into something it isn't. Just trying to dress up a drab area.

The CVO insert is not available for purchase without a valid vin #. I bought one for my 04 and had to give the dealer my vin. I think there are inserts available in P/A catalogue.

I have seen mixed results with this. People have been able to easily buy the chrome console part, but it seems 50/50 with the actual insert. I can get around it if need be. I'm more curious about what different console inserts were available over the life of the FLHTCUSE. And if it comes down to not being able to get the insert I can just run the chrome console. Which looks much better than the stock piece.

And the only thing available in the p/a catalog is for pre '08 models.
