Thanks for sharing. Some great pics there. I went there with my family for the 1st time ever this past April. Many of the pics you posted I remember seeing, just not with the snow. Looks like you had a great time.  :2vrolijk_21:

JC, thanks for the pictures of God's wonder and majesty.  I never get tired of viewing the beauty in this world.  Never been to Yosemite so your pictures helped show that wonderful part of the country and have caused me to move that destination closer toward the top of places to we need to visit.  Thanks for sharing your Christmas experience with us

Take Mon. off work and hang out for a day.  I think some other members of this forum are going to ride in, also.  You know, the same culprits that you keep ending up on these trips with.  :2vrolijk_21:

Thanks a bunch to everybody for all the compalments and comments.....much appreciated!

Thanks again for the pics JC. :2vrolijk_21: It was much easier viewing these snow pictures than the last snow pictures I saw you post(This time you had four wheels, last time you were on two)! Have to ask, in the one pic it said 4 wheel with snow tires...carry chains...do you carry chains too??? :nixweiss: Love to view your pictures JC, next best thing than to be there with ya! Love to you and Terri...Happy New Year buddy!  :drink:

Wow JC great pics, the pics can only show part of what yous must have experienced, on your away
from home Christmas it must of been  wonderful.
The greatest part about being in a place like that is at that time of year with the snow is how noisy
the silence is. I'm sure yous notest it.

Thanks for shering, have a good New Year

LOL.....LOL.....you flat landers!  :huepfenlol2:  Yep, carry the chains too....well, actually cables.  Badger Pass (the southern entrance/exit to the park) required chains on all vehicles including 4x4.  At times, that's also required on all the other passes to, including I-80.  But not very often on I-80.....you can usually get over with 4x4 and snow tires.  It is more common on all the other passes.  And, of course, several are closed for the winter each year, due to the snow level.
