Well, another one bites the dust...Year that is!
Seems they go by faster and faster the older I get, not sure why, just does! Each year I reflect over the one I just survived and each year I realize how blessed I am. For me it's not all about the material things I have acquired. Although they are immediate self gratification, they don't last as long as something else...Relationships! I see my greatest blessings coming from my relationships, As a man of faith, it starts with my relationship with God, then family, then all those who cross my path each day. In reflection I wonder how many blessings I missed because I was too busy to take the time and talk with someone God placed before me.
One of the greatest blessings I received this year came from Chappy! Reading his posts about his Journey (I might be down but I'm not out), are inspirational, but getting to speak with him on the phone, I am blessed beyond measure! My sweet wife Debbie, who's love blesses me everyday, which some days I take for granted. Then the joy of the Grand babies and the things they can get me to do.
Then there is you! Some of you have blessed me and I only know you by handle on this site. Some of you I have had the honor to speak with you in person and some of you have become very close friends and dear to my heart! I am blessed and you are too!
