I have Kershaws, bucks, schrade, and a bunch more, that I dont carry much at all, but I always have a piece of chit cheap knife [pocket size big or small] with me, like a $5.00 liquor store knife mostly with a clip and quick open thumb device, I beat it up any way I want to, force it to do anything, if I F#@*% it up no loss just get another one, some last more than a year some a few months, in a big jam for a blade screwdriver I wouldn't hesitate to break off the tip.

I carry this nice little Leatherman folding knife with emergency screw drivers. Holds a nice sharp edge!

Kershaw. ............the volt 2 is my choice.........very sharp, comes either smooth or partly serrated blade, black or stainless, and awesome clips!
They will not slip out of your pocket like those with slick clips.

I remember a little shop in Solvang with CVO knives, some of the finest knives I have ever seen with prices to match :'(

Yes, it's a cool little shop.  I ride to Solvang about once a year.  I usually bring a couple of knives for them to sharpen.  I drop them off and then walk around and eat lunch.  They're always finished before I'm ready to leave.

Their lifesharp service is great. Send $5 for return postage. Somehow I chipped the tip off my Infidel and they either replaced the blade or reshaped the whole thing. I can't tell and it's back to a razor edge.

Found the Buck all ways worked for me in the days when I was a hunter. The 110 with belt pouch and the
finger grip folding with belt pouch. The buck would hold an edge. Could skin out from start to Finnish with
out having to re-edge the blade, great knive.
