Rider Heights
« on: January 01, 2013, 03:15:48 PM »

Hi all,

This may seem like a strange question: what height are those of you who are riding the Breakout? The reason I ask is that I once owned a Rocker C and I struggled a bit due to my height (5' 6"). I also owned a deuce once and found it great. I've looked at the specs for the 3 models and the Breakout falls in between the Deuce and the Rocker C.

Thanks a lot!

Unfortunately, don't think i can help you.  I am 6'5".  Swinging a leg over the Breakout for me is like mounting a tricycle  !

Kiwi_harley,

I'm 5'6" with a 30-32" inseam (depending on the jeans).  I sit nice and comfortably on mine and fully flat footed at a stop.  I think that the saddle height is even lower than my '05 FXD Superglide!

You should have no problems!

5'9 with a 30' inseam- took me some getting used to-legs stretch out further, but is actually more comfortable that way-first bike was an 05 Deluxe, which had foot boards.  This was a nice platform, but I would always want to strecth my legs and didn't want to get an engine guard so would get uncomfortable on long rides.  Second bike was aan 07 CVO springer.  The forward controls took some getting used to but were still closer than the Breakout.  The Breakout foot controls will stretch your legs out (can be good or bad, depending on your preference-I like it).

5' 8" I find I am slightly leaning forwards too much but about to pull the bars bar which should give me an inch. Its more comfortable than my Fatboy was when it was standard.
