Fullsac X pipe vs. Sport Pipe vs. Fuel Moto 2/1/2
« on: January 02, 2013, 09:44:57 AM »

Happy New Year People
My FLHXSE3 want a new exhaust system.I like the Xpipe and just wanted some input on the new Sport pipe
In the Auto in. I always used stainless and coated in and out for my Viper customers but that was what they wanted.
For other cars I went with coated.
On the bikes just looking for what others have used and like
Thanks Bill

I've used the x-pipe on my '09 and '10 and would not change.
I've used a couple sport pipes on a '12 FLH and also a couple trikes.....love 'em.
It's all about the sound IMO, we all love the sound!
My last 2 bikes were on the dyno before and after, and we did get a couple more HP over the stock, gutted head pipe.
As far a quality, I don't think you can go wrong with any of the pipes you mentioned.
Unlike others (you know who you are, Gene!) I won't be changing exhaust systems.

There would probably be a slight difference in sound between all the different x-pipes and Sportpipe.
I think more would depend on the mufflers. We have not tried those 2 head pipes on the same bike.
I know that there IS a different sound from the stock, de-catted head pipe and the x-pipe or Sportpipe. We HAVE had the before and after reports.
I have an x-pipe and CVO mufflers on my long haul bike and just love the sound.........all day long! Quiet enough to be totally rested at the end of the day.
JMHO, of course.
I know there are those who want all the noise they can get, and wear ear plugs to keep from puncturing their ear drums!
Ooops, am I getting too political?

The Sport Pipe is a less expensive X pipe from Fullsac.Fullsac claimes within 1-2 HP difference from the Xpipe
Fuel Moto is a cleaner looking pipe, but once the heat shilds are on you will never see it again.
Just looking to see any difference in fit, finish, service and performance
