I've been looking into it...thinking it may be a good winter project.

Getting some lights pointed at those wheels would really show them off, too, but I'm worried about running/hiding wires.

I just had lights put on my SG.  I went with the Kury brand.  I used Boogy lights on my old SG.  What I didn't like about them is each light is not enclosed on the strip.  They stick out like little nubs.  When you're washing your MC and your rag hits them it bends them and to many bends will cause them to break off and then that strip needs replaced.   :'(

Hey Howard  :P.  I'm waiting on you to get that TP so we can share!  That picture I posted was sent to me by my mechanic.  He still has my MC in the shop finishing up the reverse, so I had him put the lights on. He also added the LED saddlebag spoilers and changed out my running lights and headlight to the Truck lite phase 7.  I'm 99% sure I'm gonna be ordering the TP in the next month or 2.  I would like to have it before the NM GTG.

:jack: The lights do look good.  Make sure to post some comments on the reverse when you get that back and have a chance to use it a few times.  Just bought a luggage set from Sammy on the site so putting off the KTP purchase.  May try to order and get one before we head out to Sturgis this year.  Been reading the thread on the NM GTG and looks like fun but too close to the trip in August.  May attempt to make it to the Ribfest in KY....

Now back to your regular post already in progress.... :jack:

You can't run the MC down the road with the red lights on.., that is when they consider them illegal but these lights have 7 colors.  I'm not a Hugh fan of all the lights but since I was hit by a car that was traveling 60 mph and all he could say was "I didn't see you" I have decided for safety reasons to light up my MC.

If ya ride at night they'll be the best safety accessories that you've every purchased.

My Mate and I both run amber LED's that illuminate the whole engine / gearbox, they look awesome  and we can be seen from side on at night.

We have both explained the safety factor to cops that have questioned them and the result has been the same every time,,, well,
you saw us didn't you ?

They have all agreed and said adios amigos, have a nice night.

The other argument is that it's mandatory for trucks to run amber side lights isn't it ? Why not motor sicles.

So, the color might be questionable, and they did say that so long as the light is not direct, but as we have them set up under the tank and inside the heat shields it's only the bike that's illuminated.

Not a problem with us cause we ride Black and Orange bikes and the amber is just the right color.

And Man, when ya parked up of a night time, don't ya get some thumbs up from the party goers.

Thanks for the feedback ozrider  :2vrolijk_21:  That is exactly why I put these lights on my scoot.

In Virginia you would get stopped and possibly ticketed for the LEDs being on while riding down the road. I like them for display though but have never had a set. In this state you can do things to increase visibility such as getting the H-D LED saddlebag latches, Motolights etc.

I know it wouldn't make you one of the "cool kids" but you could also leave the reflectors on......    :huepfenlol2:
And not dress like a ninja in all black leather....  ;D
