Now that I am beyond the break in miles on my engine upgrades (103+ Pistons with matching custom headwork, S&S 685 Geardrive cams, springs, rods, etc. etc. - LSR 2-1 Pipe, Big Sucker air cleaner, PCIII and a few other goodies I don't remember) But now that I am beyond the break in miles and gettin on her a lil harder breakin in my new PM six piston brakes I have developed a slight problem. When gettin on the brakes hard the motor dies. The PCIII has a basic stage I map but she will be Dyno tuned next thursday and hopefully that will help as I have noticed that at idle the PCIII LED readout is real low - it shows -10 thru plus 10 fuel and at idle it shows just two bars. Like I said hopefully this is a tweak they will make when tuning but I thought I'd ask for any opinions. I know it didn't do it before as I had a brush with a deer ( - really it brushed my left leg after passing in front of me!!) I was runnin on the highway at 75 or so and saw it coming from the medium and I got all over the brakes as she just made it in front of me - and the bike was fine - this was just before the engine work. Now it would die, hit the starter and it starts right up. The idle also likes to run on high idle a lot ( about 2000 rpms? ) rather than the low idle about 1000. At start up it will start high then drop down as normal, but often when running around town I'll pull in to a parking lot and it will be running on high idle again. Any thoughts?
