Custom saddlebags
« on: January 14, 2013, 03:22:33 PM »

I have a 2008 105th SE Springer and wanted to find some custom saddlebags for the bike.  I wanted to find a brown color leather, but the Harley bags are black.

Does anyone know who makes custom bags or has any photos to post?

Check out garageleathers.com for some of the best available.  I use a swingarm solo bag I bought from them.  It's tough, holds it's shape and looks badass. You can get in black or brown.  Another good product is leatherworks.com  . These are about the top two I've come across.  Stay away from that cheap crap you'll find on ebay.

Who makes the bags in your photo?

The saddle bags in my photo were made by Boss Bags in 2001 specifically or the WG2. I had custom tops made by a local artisan. The roll bag was made to my specifications by Diane Kaib at Leather Connexion (http://www.leatherconnexion.com/).

I had a garageleather bag on my soft tail and it was good looking, tough, and I liked that it held its shape.
