Another new guy here. I am in the process of aquiring a new (<1k miles) '06 from the dealer. Before I part w/ all of my $, what else should I be aware of besides paint problems?

Welcome to the best CVO/Harley site on the Internet we are glad to have you. [smiley=xyxthumbs.gif] In regards to your question about what to look for something that comes to mind, which has been talked about recently, is the motor mounts (front I believe). I think some of the members have had some failures with these in the '06's.

                    there was also a recall on some ignition switches well they didnt call it a recall. but they will fix it for free. you can find out if this bike is one of the ones that needs a new switch on the HD web site
