Has anyone changed their bags?  Thinking of trying the Heritage saddlebags, would like to see pics if anyone has done this.....

I have not.  I generally like the leather bags, but would have some interest in moving to a hard bag, but figured the cost to paint and mount would be prohibitive for what little benefit I pick up in weather resistance.

I had put hard bags on my Deluxe and am seriously thinking about doing the same on the Convertible. It gives the bike a unique look, and they have more room. I pack pretty light anyway, but these bags don't seem to have much to them. Using the baggertail mounting equipment (if it's available, as I've not yet looked) might also prevent the bags from falling off if not put on correctly. I bought the bags on ebay and had them custom painted. It was worth the extra money. I put 28K miles on that bike in 3 years and loved having the hard bags.

Haven't put them on yet. It's on my wish list. Will definitely send pics once I get it done though.
