help 1.75 fullsac baffles
« on: January 21, 2013, 07:29:42 AM »

I have a 2011 fltrsu with the cat out of the head pipe tried the 2" full sac good sound but to loud on all day rides, went to 1.75 baffles again love the sound but the wife does not, already repacked cores, has anyone tried cutting the tips off that stick out past the where you bolt them in. Will that make them louder or quieter? love the deep sound but would like it a little quieter for the wife, and ideas will be welcomed.   Thanks

stock CVO mufflers is likely the next step down.

curious - what was the difference in sound from the 2.0 to the 1.75??  i'm getting ready to purchase these and want quiet, but if the sound difference is negligable - i will go for the increase in performance of the 2.0's.

are you selling either of yours?

thx - tin

The 2 had more bass but louder already sold them, still playing with 1.75 so not for sale right now.

Louder

Give Steve @ Fullsac a call, he may be able to help with the baffles. Depending how old the baffles are there were changes over the past few years.
