Gotta side with Terri and Murphy (and others) here. That is a good looking bike, and I applaud Victory for taking a chance and NOT looking like a Harley. They are an American company, they make a good product, and they don't look like they're trying to be an exact clone of HD. The Japanese have tried to copy HD for years, and they haven't been able to make a dent in Harley sales.
On paper, Victory kinda makes people who buy Harleys look like fools. Generally speaking, the Victorys will outperform Harleys in most measurable parameters, including power, handling, comfort, reliability, and price. Plus, Victory has the highest customer satisfaction rating among all motorcycle manufacturers. I was looking at Victory very seriously before I bought my Street Glide and I tried really, really hard to like the Victory better, but I didn't. For me, the Street Glide just felt better on an emotional level. I'm just glad that Victory is giving Harley a little much-needed competition.
On a forum devoted to motorcycles that are painted in bright, sparkly, metallic colors and dripping with enough chrome to make Liberace cringe, I find it ironic that anyone feels the need to equate owning a Victory to being gay.
