Jagg Fan-assisted Oil Cooler Kit
« on: January 31, 2013, 10:24:01 AM »

Noticed Jagg has the Fan-assisted Oil Cooler Kit out for 1999-2008 Touring Models.

Trying to decide to spend the extra $40 on the T-stat (turns on at about 210 deg) or just connect fan to a switch to manual turn fan on.

Thanks

I would go manual. If you have a oil temp gauge and know your going to be in stop and go traffic you can turn the fan on before the temps get higher

I did the switch because I am a control freak.

Get the one with the t-stat...and put a switch in parallel.....best of both worlds....and it'll come on even if you forget.

What did you all use for the switch? I was thinking using one of the two blanks next to the spot and accessory switches.

Used one of the blank switches.

i dont have a oil cooler fan - i have the parade fan - and once it gets hot enough to come on - it works just fantastic, cools the bike right down.
