Any suggestions? What have others done to put a comfortable touring seat ( with arm rests preferrably) on a SEEG [smiley=nixweiss.gif][

Bulldog, I am unaware of any site members with a touring seat with armrests for the driver, if that's what you are asking.  You can put a king tourpack backrest on a chopped so the passenger would have armrests.  For a touring seat most people stick with stock, use a HD upgrade like a Sundowner, or a Corbin or Mustang (aftermarket).  The Mustang or Sundowner will accept your stock driver's backrest as whereas a Corbin will not (have to buy extra).  Hope this helps.

Bulldog...

I put on a standard touring seat for a Roadking on my 05 SEEG, then drilled the chopped tourpack and installed the backrest from an Ultra that matched the seat.

The standard seat was fine with me, however the better half hated it as it has no padding at all, plus it was very narrow.  (no comment on that one)

In any event, the setup is perfect for her now and as long as momma is happy, life is good.

I went to Rich's Custom Seats in Seattle, spent my nickel, and now have a seat that is custom fitted to me and my boss lady's fanny's.....   He'll do the backrest too.

Pillow look seat and passenger back rest on a full size tour pak. The pillo look is much thicker than stock so the pad on a stock chopped back causes issues w/ closing the lid.

That looks just like the comfort stitch touring seat from HD, which is what I'm going to try next. We got a pro pad in Sturgis this past august and she said it helped. We had the mustang (both of us hated it) I sold it on Ebay for more than I paid (Hi JC $326.00 go figure!) If the comfort stitch with the pro pad doesnt do the trick, then I am going to have one custom made with gel from pro pad. I am in the process of buying a King Tour pack and I'll probably get the  comfort stitch tour pack backrest pad also. Nice picture
